Trace only remembers pages you actually read: about 5 seconds of active reading with enough text on the page. Quick bounces, menus, and search result pages are skipped on purpose. Private windows and blocked sites are never remembered.
Why can't I find something from two months ago?
Free searches your last 30 days. Pro unlocks your whole history, back to the day you installed Trace. Pages older than the window aren't deleted, they're just not searchable until you upgrade.
I'm out of asks for today
Free includes 5 asks a day, and the counter resets at midnight. Search is never limited, so you can keep finding pages the whole time. Pro removes the ask limit entirely.
Using my license key on a new computer
Your key works on up to 5 devices through Chrome sync. Sign in to Chrome on the new machine, install Trace, and paste your key in Settings → Trace Pro. It also keeps working for 7 days at a time without a connection.
I lost my license key
Email us from the address you used at checkout and we'll resend it.

All Pro purchases are final. Everything Pro unlocks builds on the free version you can use as long as you like, so try Free first and upgrade when you're sure.
Does support ever see my data?
No. Your pages live only on your device, so there's nothing we could look at even to help you debug. Worst case, Settings → Your data → Delete everything gives you a clean start.
